Setup EleksTube IPS LITE in a few easy steps

Before you start

Thank you for choosing the EleksTube IPS LITE. Before configuring Wi-Fi, please make sure of the following:

  • Your clock is powered via the included USB-C cable and a 5V 2A (or higher) adapter.
  • You have a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network available — the LITE does not support 5 GHz networks.
  • Your phone or laptop is connected to the same 2.4 GHz network you intend to set up the clock on.
  • You know your Wi-Fi password (case-sensitive).

Step 1 — Power on the clock

Connect the USB-C cable to the back of the clock and plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The six tube displays will light up and show a default boot animation. On first boot, the clock automatically enters Wi-Fi configuration mode.

Step 2 — Connect to the clock's Wi-Fi hotspot

On your phone or laptop, open the Wi-Fi settings and look for a network named EleksTube-LITE-XXXX (the last four characters are unique to your device). Connect to it. No password is required for the setup hotspot.

If your device asks "Stay connected to this network without internet?", tap Yes — this is expected during configuration.

Step 3 — Open the configuration page

Once connected to the EleksTube-LITE hotspot, open a web browser and go to:

http://192.168.4.1

The configuration page will load. If it does not load automatically, manually type the URL above into the address bar.

Step 4 — Enter your Wi-Fi credentials

On the configuration page:

  1. Tap Scan — the clock will list nearby 2.4 GHz networks.
  2. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password (case-sensitive). Double-check spaces and special characters.
  4. Choose your time zone from the dropdown.
  5. Tap Save & Restart.

Step 5 — The clock connects and syncs time

The clock will reboot, connect to your home Wi-Fi, and fetch the current time over NTP. After about 15–30 seconds you should see the correct time displayed across the six IPS tubes.

Troubleshooting

The hotspot doesn't appear in my Wi-Fi list

Power-cycle the clock by unplugging the USB-C cable for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in. Wait one minute for the hotspot to broadcast. Make sure your phone is within 3 meters of the clock during setup.

The configuration page won't load at 192.168.4.1

Disable mobile data on your phone during setup so the browser routes the request through the local Wi-Fi connection. Try a different browser (Safari, Chrome, or Edge). Some VPN apps also interfere — disable them temporarily.

The clock won't connect to my network

Confirm your network is on the 2.4 GHz band — the LITE cannot connect to 5 GHz. If your router broadcasts a single SSID for both bands, you may need to temporarily separate them or move the clock closer to the router. Re-check your password (it is case-sensitive and may include hidden characters if you copy-pasted).

Time is wrong after setup

Verify you selected the correct time zone in Step 4. You can re-enter setup mode at any time by holding the back button for 5 seconds — the hotspot will reappear and you can correct the time zone.
