Do I need to connect an audio cable to use it?
No. The EleksVU2 has a built-in microphone that responds to ambient sound. Simply connect the USB-C cable for power and the VU meter reacts immediately to music, gaming audio, or any sound in the room. No drivers, no software, no audio cables.
Can the RGB ambient light be turned off?
Yes. Use the button to cycle through RGB colors and modes, or turn the lighting off completely for a pure analog VU meter experience. The ambient light sits between the dual meters and is fully optional.
