Warranty Information for EleksMaker, Inc. Products

Warranty Coverage

EleksMaker, Inc. offers a non-transferable warranty to the original purchaser of EleksMaker products purchased directly from our website or authorized resellers, unless otherwise specified on our website, listings, or other related materials. EleksMaker warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period beginning on the date of purchase. Except where prohibited by applicable local law, this warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty grants you specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary based on local laws.

In essence, this warranty ensures that your EleksMaker hardware product will function according to the published technical specifications, as detailed in its datasheet, and within the intended operating environment for the duration of the warranty period.

Remedies

EleksMaker’s total liability and your exclusive remedy for any product not operating according to its published technical specifications will be, at EleksMaker’s discretion: 1) to repair or replace the product at EleksMaker’s expense, or 2) to refund the purchase price less a usage fee of 10%. This warranty obligation is contingent on the hardware being returned to the original place of purchase or another location as directed by EleksMaker, with the original sales receipt attached. You may be required to cover shipping and handling charges, as well as any applicable tariffs, duties, taxes, or other fees. EleksMaker may, at its discretion, use new or refurbished parts in good working condition to repair or replace the hardware.

Any repaired or replacement hardware will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is greater, or for the period required by local statute.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover issues or damage resulting from, but not limited to:

Normal wear and tear associated with use

Any modification, abuse, accident, disassembly, misapplication, or unauthorized repair

Removal of any manufacturer labels or stickers

Improper operation, including any use not in accordance with supplied product instructions

Any other cause not related to a defect in materials or workmanship

Additionally, this warranty does not cover counterfeit products—those that EleksMaker determines were not manufactured by EleksMaker or its authorized manufacturing partners.

Limitation of Liability

ELEKSMAKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT) OR COMMERCIAL LOSS FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON YOUR PRODUCT, EVEN IF ELEKSMAKER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some local laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Exclusion of Implied Warranties

EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS HARDWARE PRODUCT IS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. Some local laws do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty may last, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Special Warranty Period in the European Union

In the European Union, the minimum warranty period provided by the reseller is two years. The minimum warranty period for refurbished products is one year.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Before submitting a warranty claim, we recommend contacting customer service and reviewing relevant discussion threads for technical assistance. A simple fix may be available.

Returning Your Product

If you need to return your EleksMaker product for repair or replacement, EleksMaker will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) and return instructions. Return shipping is typically the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise specified. Do not return your product without prior approval from EleksMaker. Any product returned without a valid RMA# will be refused and returned at the sender’s expense. Clearly write your RMA# on the outside of the package and include a copy of your RMA confirmation email within the package.

Request a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA#)

Please follow these steps to obtain an RMA number:

1. Submit an RMA# request through our support page.

2. Describe the problem in the “Message” text box.

3. Include valid proof of purchase (required for RMA processing, i.e., order number, invoice) in the message.

RMA Return Addresses

We have two (2) RMA receiving locations worldwide. Your RMA confirmation will specify the return address you must use. This will be your standard return location and should not be changed without prior approval from EleksMaker. Any packages received at an unauthorized location may be refused and returned at the sender’s expense.

Products Lost or Damaged During Transit

Use the original packaging material to pack the product for return. If unavailable, use materials that provide equal or greater protection. Packages that arrive with external damage or appear inadequately packed will be refused and returned at the sender’s expense. EleksMaker is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping to our RMA locations.

Choose a return shipping method that provides tracking information. EleksMaker is not responsible for lost or misdirected packages.

RMA Processing

EleksMaker will inspect the package upon arrival to ensure there was no visible damage during transit. All products go through a visual inspection to confirm they are genuine EleksMaker products with all labels intact and free of physical damage/abuse. We also verify the RMA# on the package. Packages with damage or without a valid RMA# will be returned at the sender’s expense. Counterfeit products or those fitting the warranty exclusions will be returned at the sender’s expense. After inspection, the product will be processed.

Warranty Periods

All computer enclosures and parts have a 1-year warranty.

All refurbished or factory reconditioned computer enclosures and parts have a 1-year, replacement-only warranty.
