What is GeekHub?
GeekHub (also written "Geek Hub") is a programmable USB desk hub from EleksMaker. It pairs a 3-port USB-A expander with four customizable keys, a tactile volume knob, and RGB lighting — designed for creators, coders, and anyone who wants physical shortcuts and media controls on their desk.
How do I program the four keys?
Open key.eleksmaker.com in a WebHID-compatible browser (Chrome, Edge, or Opera), connect GeekHub via USB, and remap each key to launch apps, trigger macros, or send keyboard shortcuts. No software to install — settings are written directly to GeekHub's firmware and persist across computers and operating systems.
Which operating systems is GeekHub compatible with?
GeekHub works on Windows, macOS, and Linux out of the box. The USB hub, volume knob, and programmable keys are plug-and-play — no drivers required. Key remapping is done in your browser at key.eleksmaker.com (Chrome, Edge, or Opera on any OS). Safari does not currently support WebHID, so use a Chromium-based browser when configuring keys on macOS.
Does it require external power?
No. GeekHub is USB-powered — simply plug it into your laptop or other host device. No external power adapter needed. Plug and play with no drivers required.
