Before You Begin

This firmware is designed for upgrading EleksTube IPS, PR1, PR2, PR3, and PRO models with original firmware version Ver3.x. After upgrading to this firmware, the original EleksTube IPS PC Tool desktop client will no longer be compatible.

This firmware provides a Web UI control center that allows you to access and manage your device from any computer or smartphone within your local network using the device's IP address.

1. Verify your device model and firmware version.

   Confirm that your current device is an EleksTube IPS, PR1, PR2, PR3, or PRO model with firmware version Ver3.x. For EleksTube IPS models, please verify that the four control buttons are located on the front of the clock (facing the display). If your buttons are located on the back of the device display, do not upgrade to this firmware. If your device does not meet these requirements, do not proceed with the upgrade. We are not responsible for any device failures resulting from incompatible upgrades.

2. Backup your current firmware.

   Before upgrading, we strongly recommend visiting the EleksTube Firmware Backup Tool Guide and following the instructions to backup your clock's current firmware. This ensures you can recover your device if the upgrade fails.

3. Perform the firmware upgrade.

   After completing the backup, visit the EleksMaker Firmware Recovery Tool. Disconnect all other USB peripherals from your computer and connect your clock using a data cable. In the first dropdown menu, select "EleksTube IPS". In the second dropdown menu, select "EleksMaker IPS Firmware", then click the green "Connect Device" button on the right. Follow the prompts to select the correct port and wait patiently for the upgrade to complete.

4. Configure WiFi after upgrade.

   Once the upgrade is complete, your device will restart automatically. After startup, use your phone or computer to search for the device's SSID in WiFi settings and connect to it. If the network configuration page does not appear automatically after connecting, open a browser and visit 192.168.4.1 to configure your WiFi network. After WiFi configuration is complete, press the rightmost button on your device to enter the Info screen and view the device's local network IP address. Use this IP address to access and configure your device.

Control Center Overview

The Control Center features a clean, dark-themed interface with a left navigation panel and main content area. The top bar displays your device information, including Device ID, IP address, and firmware version.

• App Settings - Weather, countdown timer, and timezone configuration
• Image Management - Browse and download images from the online market
• Dial Market - Download complete clock face designs

System Settings

WiFi Configuration

Connect your EleksTube IPS clock to your wireless network:

1. Click Scan WiFi to discover available networks
2. Select a network from the list (signal strength is indicated)
3. Enter the WiFi password
4. Click Connect

Your saved networks will appear at the top for easy reconnection.

Display Modes

Switch between different EleksTube IPS display modes with a single click:

Additional options:

• Switch Style - Cycle through different clock face styles
• 12/24 Hour - Toggle between time formats

RGB Light Control

Customize the RGB ambient lighting on your EleksTube IPS:

Color Wheel

• Click or drag on the color wheel to select any color
• The selected color applies immediately to the device

Quick Colors

• Use preset color buttons for instant selection (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Purple, Pink, White)

Light Modes

• Rainbow Mode - Flowing rainbow color effect
• Aurora Mode - Aurora borealis lighting effect
• Static Mode - Fixed single color display

Controls

• Light Switch - Toggle the RGB lights on/off
• Brightness Slider - Adjust brightness from 0-255

App Settings

Weather Configuration

Configure weather display settings for your EleksTube IPS:

Auto Location

• Enable IP Auto Location to detect your location based on network IP automatically

Temperature Unit

• Toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit

Manual City Selection

1. Enter your city name in English (e.g., London, Tokyo, Paris)
2. Or use the quick-select buttons for popular cities (Beijing, London, Tokyo, New York, Paris, Singapore)
3. Click Save and Display to apply

Countdown Timer

Set up a countdown to any future event on your EleksTube IPS:

1. Enter the target date and time: Year (YYYY), Month (MM), Day (DD), Hour (HH), Minute (MM)
2. Click Save and Display

Display format changes automatically based on remaining time:

• 1 day or more: Shows DAY format
• Less than 1 day: Shows HRS format
• Less than 1 hour: Shows MIN format
• Less than 1 minute: Shows SEC format

Note: Maximum countdown duration is 99 days.

POSIX Timezone Settings

Configure your timezone using POSIX format:

1. Enter a timezone string (e.g., CST-8 for China Standard Time)
2. Click Save Timezone

Image Management

Online Image Market

This feature may not be available in some countries.

Browse and download images for your EleksTube IPS Album mode:

1. Navigate to the Image Management section
2. Browse the image gallery (images are displayed in a grid)
3. Hover over an image to see details and actions
4. Click Download to save to your device
5. Select a position (1-6) for the image

Favorites

Save images for later:

• Click the star button to add/remove favorites
• Access your favorites from the My Favorites tab

Album Management

View and manage images currently on your EleksTube IPS device:

• Images are displayed in a 3-column grid
• Hover to see position number and delete option
• Click Delete to remove an image

Dial Market

Download complete clock face designs (dial sets) for your EleksTube IPS:

1. Navigate to Dial Market
2. Browse available dial designs
3. Each dial shows preview thumbnails of all 6 tube images
4. Click Download to install
5. Select the starting position for the dial set

Use My Favorites and My Library tabs to access saved dials.

Tips and Tricks

1. Quick Mode Switching - Use display mode buttons for instant changes without navigating menus
2. Image Requirements - Always use 135x240 pixel JPG images under 100KB for best results
3. WiFi Stability - For reliable operation, ensure a strong WiFi signal strength
4. Backup Favorites - Log in to save your favorites to the cloud
5. Color Wheel - Click directly on the color wheel or drag to smoothly select colors
