What you get: A browser-based control center accessible from any phone, tablet, or computer on the same Wi-Fi network. No app download is required.

Before You Begin

  1. Verify your device model

This firmware is compatible with EleksTube IPS, PR1, PR2, PR3, and PRO models running firmware Ver3.x. For IPS Classic models, confirm that the four control buttons are on the front side, facing the display. If the buttons are on the back, do not proceed.

  2. Back up your current firmware

Use the Firmware Backup Guide before upgrading so you can restore the original firmware if needed.

  3. Install the latest WebUI firmware

Open the WebUI Firmware Installer, connect the clock with a USB data cable, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Button Functions

The device has four physical buttons on the top panel, labeled A through D from left to right.

  • A — Switch time display mode
  • B — Switch clock face style
  • C — Switch RGB backlight style
  • D — Show the Info screen with the IP address and firmware version

1. Initial Wi-Fi Setup

  1. Connect to the device hotspot

After activation, the clock broadcasts an open Wi-Fi hotspot starting with EM-IPS-XXXXXX. Connect to it from your phone or computer; no password is required.

  2. Configure home Wi-Fi

A configuration page should open automatically. If it does not, visit http://192.168.4.1 in your browser.

Tap Scan, select your 2.4GHz home network, tap the Password field, enter the password, and tap Connect. Selecting a scan result fills the SSID field without automatically opening the password keyboard, so you can review the network first.

  3. Access the control center

After the clock joins your home Wi-Fi, press button D, the rightmost button, to open the Info screen. Enter the displayed IP address in a browser on any device connected to the same network.

2. Control Center Overview

The current control center has five subsystems: System, Settings, Schedule, Images, and Dial Manage. Use the left navigation on desktop or the bottom navigation on a phone.

The top bar shows the device, local IP address, firmware version, connection state, and language menu. The live six-screen preview mirrors the selected clock content. System telemetry shows connection, mode, weather city, lighting, and device time; the local Command tape records recent browser-to-clock actions.

3. System: Wi-Fi, Display & Light

Wi-Fi scans nearby networks, manages saved networks, connects the clock to a 2.4GHz network, and controls whether the setup SSID is visible. Online face downloads and other internet features require the clock to be connected to your router.

Display switches the clock immediately. Style changes the active clock-face style, and 12/24H changes the time format.

  • Clock — Standard time display
  • Date — Date display
  • Album — Images stored on the clock
  • Clock Weather — Time with current weather
  • Forecast — Weather forecast
  • Clock Photo — Time with a photo background
  • Countdown — Saved event countdown
  • The Matrix — Matrix animation
  • Info — Device information, including the current IP address

Light turns the base RGB light on or off, adjusts brightness, selects a color, and switches between Static, Rainbow, and Aurora effects.

4. Settings: Weather, Countdown & Time

Enable Auto-detect Location to locate the clock using its internet connection, or disable it and enter a city manually. Use the map or Show on Map to verify the location, select Celsius or Fahrenheit, and click Save & Show.

For countdowns, enter the target year, month, day, hour, and minute, then click Save & Show. Use Clear Settings to remove the saved countdown.

Select a city or region for automatic daylight saving time, or choose a fixed UTC offset. Use this device detects the timezone of the phone or computer running the browser.

  • City / region — Applies the correct UTC offset and DST rule automatically
  • Fixed UTC offset — Supports 15-minute steps
  • Blink time separator — Controls whether the colon blinks in supported HH:MM modes
  • Automatic network time — Keeps the clock accurate while online
  • NTP servers — Uses the recommended automatic pool or custom server addresses
  • Sync interval — Sets how often network time is refreshed
  • Sync now — Requests an immediate time synchronization

The Device timezone card shows the effective UTC offset, selected region, and current DST state. Click Save time settings after changing timezone or NTP options.

5. Smart Schedule

Schedule rules are stored on the clock. You can create up to eight rules and trigger them at a fixed time, sunrise, or sunset. Each rule can select the display mode, clock-face style, repeat days, and base RGB light state, effect, color, and brightness.

  • Fixed time — Runs on the clock even when it is offline
  • Sunrise / sunset — Uses the weather location and supports an offset before or after the solar event
  • Preview Effect — Tests one rule immediately
  • Preview Full Day — Reviews the day's sequence before saving
  • Pause Until Tomorrow — Temporarily stops automatic rules without deleting them
The IPS screen backlight is fixed by the hardware. Schedule brightness controls only the base RGB light.

6. Image Management

The Image Library shows images stored on the clock. Click Upload Images to choose one or more source images; the browser editor crops and optimizes them to a 135 × 240 JPEG under 20 KB before upload.

Restore Default restores the factory image set. Delete All Images removes the current image library.

Use Built-in Faces for faces included with the firmware, Online Faces to browse downloadable face packs, or Create Clock Face to prepare your own ten-digit clock face. Each online pack can be previewed before downloading, and Previous / Next moves between catalog pages.

FAQ

Can't find the device hotspot?

Confirm that WebUI firmware is installed and the clock is powered on. The EM-IPS-XXXXXX hotspot broadcasts automatically on startup. Disconnect and reconnect power to restart the clock.

Can't open 192.168.4.1?

Make sure your phone or computer is connected to the clock's hotspot, not your home Wi-Fi. Enter the full address http://192.168.4.1 in the browser.

Forgot the device IP address?

Press button D, the rightmost button. The Info screen displays the current IP address.

Control Center won't open after Wi-Fi setup?

Make sure the phone or computer is on the same Wi-Fi network as the clock. Router features such as AP isolation or guest network isolation can prevent local devices from communicating.

Why do online faces or the weather map not load?

These features require internet access. Complete the home Wi-Fi setup, then open the clock's local IP address from a device on the same network.

Why does the clock only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi?

The ESP32 Wi-Fi hardware does not support 5GHz networks. Select your router's 2.4GHz network.

How do I factory reset all settings?

Hold button D, then connect the power cable while keeping D pressed. The clock resets its settings and broadcasts the EM-IPS-XXXXXX hotspot again.
